Casual or classy, we suit either types of occasions. We hand-cut our steaks, and prepare all of our food fresh and homemade. RedBones on the River was the first bar in Kingston to receive their liquor licence. We have Kingston's very first full service bar located on the second floor of the restaurant.

“Hit the Spot”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 27, 2013

While on travel for business, we stopped here on the recommendation of one of the gentlemen in our party, who had eaten here several years ago, and remembered that it was very good. That has not changed. For a group of hungry men, the attentiveness and promptness of service was on target, and the food was good and plentiful. Being on the road, I chose not to be too adventurous palate-wise, so the half-pound burger really hit the spot for me. My buddy had the blackened tilapia and would not stop commenting on how good it was. It made me question my choice, but I didn't want to mooch off his plate. Guys just don't do that with each other. It's a man policy thing, OK? Anyway, overall, I recommend this restaurant highly, and given the chance, would return again in a heartbeat.

“Great view of the water and nice old house.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 14, 2013 via mobile

Parking is a challenge which is a good thing because business was good. Ate upstairs and service was somewhat slow, and didn't get our salad's until we asked about them. Fried Green Tomatoes were Great, prime rib was tough but had a good flavor. We will give it another try because all and all it was ok.

“The View was to Die For and the Food Was Better!!!!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 26, 2013

We are big eaters - but because of the time we decided to spilt the Ribs and Steak Combo. There was no hassle at all about bringing us an extra plate. We did order two salads and I was so glad because to share that delicious salad would have been so so hard. The steak was so tender and just a hint of seasoning and the ribs were so tender and there was way more meat than rib bones. Baked potato was HUGE so splitting that was easy.

I can't wait to go back and you should try it if you are ever in TN for any reason.

We visited for our first time - to meet out of state friends.
We found the food to be very reasonably priced and very tasty.

“A nice surprise”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 20, 2013

We had been going to this restaurant but stopped about a year ago as the food and service had gone down hill. We heard that they had made some changes to the menu, wait staff and chef, so we decided to give it another try. They have remodeled and the inside is freshly painted and updated. Our waiter, Chris was fantastic! He was very knowledgeable of the menu and the specials. He quickly got our drink order and helped us with our food order. I had that day's special, which was Prime Rib over linguini with mushrooms, spinach and tomatoes. The prime rib was tender and cooked as requested. The dish was very tasty. My husband had the Fish & Chips and was able to substitute a baked potato for the french fries with no extra charge. The meal was very good. My father-in-law had the Fish & Shrimp combination plate. He also substituted Mac & Cheese for the cole slaw (no Charge)and got french fries. He got two pieces of fish and 6 very large shrimp. He said all was excellent. Overall a very good experience, right from the atmosphere, to the service, to the food. We will put Red Bones back on our "to go" list.
