This is a lovely park, and I'm sure that at one time it was very nice to visit, BUT....
The signs around the park are very lacking, the swimming pool is already closed and from the dirty scum on top of the pool cover, I seriously doubt that it was open at all this year.
We hiked along the river on a few of the trails that are listed in the park brochure, but the trails were overgrown and the blaze marks along the trail were so faded that we only saw 2 or 3 throughout the hike. Had it not been for the fact that we were hiking along the edge of the river, we would definitely have gotten lost. There is also no indication, signage or otherwise of how to get from the parking areas to the trails.
Please, please, don't waste this lovely natural resource -- take care of it!
