We stayed at this La Quinta on a cross country trip. They were having trouble with the fire alarm that day, but had it fixed by around dinner time, so sleep was not disrupted. Check in was friendly and efficient, and the room was clean. The nice lady at the desk gave us some good suggestions for dinner. This hotel seems very pet friendly as there were dogs everywhere! Our only concerns were that we were given a handicapped room (and not informed) that was a bit inconvenient for a couple, and that the breakfast room was not organized well for the number of people it needed to accommodate. We grabbed yogurt and bananas and got out of there because it was CRAZY!
Staff friendly but didn't know much about the area-churches, or restaurants. Room was comfortable but not extraordinary-configuration of room was odd-sink was in hallway outside of bathroom and toilet bath area was small. Comfy bedding,-, noticed some dead bugs around the window area of the room. Breakfast was waffles, cereal, yogurt, bagels, muffins and hard boiled eggs-no other hot food!!!. Clean, not musty!
It was a very good deal and very pet friendly. If you are looking for a hotel in the tri-cities area that is pet friendly than this is the place. I have never seen so many pets as I did here. Very friendly staff that allowed us to use the breakfast area for a post wedding get together. The hotel is very clean and well kept. My only complaints are hard pillows and breakfast could use more hot items. I would definitely stay here again.
I stayed here on a motorcycle ride to the smokies. Awesome beds clean rooms with all u need. Good breakfast. I plan on riding this way in the future and will stay here again if possible.
The layout reminds me of a Wingate. Higher end hotel. Not to far from the airport or Bristol speedway.
