The staff was TERRIFIC!!! Super friendly and accommodating staff!! The hotel room was clean. The Lobby was very nice. The rooms could use some updating. We did not experience any problems during our stay.

The Double tree is the best place to stay. I spend over 125 days a year and have always a great experience with Double Tree Hotels. They are always clean and the staff is always there to help you in what ever you need to have a great stay.

I travel 120-130 nights per year for business.
I am a Hilton Honors Diamond member and have been one for (8) consecutive years.
Over the past several years I’ve noticed many Doubletree locations throughout the Southeast US are falling into disrepair. Hilton and/or the franchisees just seem to have given up on the Doubletree brand.
This location is an exception.
Yes, the property is obviously “older” but it is very well maintained and the staff all seem to be very invested in providing guests with a high quality lodging experience.
Well done Johnson City DoubleTree team!

My youngest daughter fell ill while we were there. The housekeeper came in swiftly to change both beds the she messed up, and even got help to make both beds so we could lay our sick daughter back down. We tipped and our housekeeper went out and bought two dolls for our daughters and brought them the next day.

I have stayed at the DoubleTree in Johnson City repeatedly throughout the years, and they have consistently offered a clean and comfortable stay. I do wish that they would do something different - other than the "hamburger bar" restaurant - however there are numerous well known restaurants within walking distance.
