“Too loud with so-so food”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 27, 2011

The food and service are so-so, in my opinion. The restaurant is always very loud, so it can be difficult to carry on a conversation with the people at your table. It's not on the top of my list for places to eat in JC.

“energetic, electic eatery...”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 15, 2011

Excellent place... Ate here for lunch on a Saturday and the restaurant was about half full... It was a game day so football was on the tvs througout the place. It does have a funky vibe with some wild modern art and writing on the tables. But it does add to the charm.

Our server was nice and the menu was printed on newsprint. Excellent selection of beers on tap with a great flight special: 4 6-ounce samples for $5. (One must be from Depot Street brewery... always try something local!) Lots of selections that were fresh and veggie-friendly. I had a grilled mushroom burger that was hot and delicious.

It was loud, but fun... I will be back.

“A funky eatery with archaic decor- more for the younger set”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 23, 2011

A restaurant and bar with very unusual decor and setting. Good for an evening of relaxation, with a few drinks and the usual American fare, hamburgers (with mushroom), salads, nachos, sandwiches and the like. The service is good and the staff seemed eager to please. A place that is more suited for the younger set one would conclude.

I have vistied this restaurant a few times and everything is consistant there, great service and great food. I love the decor, its very interesting.. very creative art. The menu is a range from mexican style food to the hamburger and steaks. I look forward to going there again.

“Great Brunch & Lunch”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 1, 2011

When my family comes to visit we love to eat at Jack's. The decor is funky..with painted table that you can write on and a huge tree made out of wine & beer bottles. They serve brunch on the weekends.which is great with big omelets and chocolate biscuits and gravy. we had lunch the hickory chicken sandwich was great and the quesdillas huge with lots of choices.also try the fried pickles.
