“Excellent”
Reviewed September 6, 2013

Travelling from Memphis to Nashville, we stopped for some lunch, at Jackson and we are,so glad we did. They had lovely old fashioned shops, and a casey jones museum, which we were very impressed with. Outside they had a full size replica of his engine, which you could climb upon, and toot the whistle, which I thought was fab, and took my right back to my childhood, you could also, visit the home which he lived in. I was pleasantly surprised with everything, and it's sad that its not better advertised, as we fell, upon it only by chance.

“Worth a visit”
Reviewed September 2, 2013

Great meal, wonderful country store, very interesting train museum. Amazing that the 37 year old train engineer has such a large, nice home in 1900.

“Our son loves trains!”

Nice spot to learn a bit of history and see a few trains. Many items to see in the museum, and the home Casey Jones lived in.

“If you know the name, it's great.”
Reviewed August 28, 2013

We stayed at the Casey Jones Motel which is located here and so had time around the village attractions.
There is the museum including steam locos etc. a restaurant and gift shop and Casey's house although this isn't open to the public.
For old generation fans it's good but for kids, they won't have a clue what it's all about!

“fun for all ages!”
Reviewed August 3, 2013

casey jones village is fun for all ages! from going to the museum, to his home, to the country store to the restaurant. kids of all ages loved the trains. just wish they were open later during the summer. after we ate and shopped couldn't do any of the rest like the museum/home would recommend to anyone. we did have fun what we got to do. was only there for one night.
