It wasn't the restaurant's fault, though. Noticed in the bar area another party of four were particularly LOUD and over antimated when they (the women) laughed, one in particular. Maybe too much wine, but I think it was just the way she was - loud talker, too. Sitting there thinking "Hope we don't have to sit beside them in the restaurant". Guess what?
Not sure what the previous poster meant when talking about their salad bar. Maybe he got stuck with the check, because it isn't a cheap or bargain restaurant. The salad bar had an abundance of variety. Granted it wasn't gourmet items and a lot of pre-prepared selections, but it was definitely more than iceburg lettuce and tomatoes. Just a guess, but I would say a total of 50+ different items plus 6 dressings. Steak was a little on the rare side of medium, which was fine with me, but I was sharing with my wife, but she loved it, too. Heard others around make the same observation, so if you want true medium - order medium well. There are a few restaurants that way, just helps to know ahead of time. Steak was delicious as was the potato and aforementioned salad. Creamy parm dressing was great!
Excellent entertainment in the bar while waiting for a table. We were sitting at a high top right in front of the singer and could still carry on a conversation, yet enjoy his acoustic selections. It was actually harder trying to talk over our annoying neighbors at the table beside us!
