Reeked of fast food from the Hooters next door . . . strong cigarette smoke in the non-smoking room, too.

Old and worn, dirty-feeling, saggy bed and worst of all . . . NO HOT WATER in the shower! It was tepid at best and the pressure was low.

It was late and I was tired, so I picked it as soon as I got off the freeway. The next time I came through, I found a hotel across the way, the Baymont Inn and it was so much better and not much more.

Room Tip: there are none!

service was wonderful, the manager was very helpful in serving our needs of finding a room just right for us. also in showing us how to get to all the attractions the city had to offer, and how to get there.
room was clean and serviceable, a/c worked perfect. location is just right, close enough to the city to enjoy it, and far enough away not to have to deal with traffic or loud noises. best was the service we got for the manager, worst was the tv, and even that was insignificant.

Room Tip: ask for what you want they will service you.

We were visiting friends in Hendersonville, but arrived very late at night (11:00 pm) so we decided to spend the night in a hotel. This one was close to the expressway and we had seen many others along our trip, so we thought since it was a chain, it would be fine for sleeping for a few hours. We were SOOO wrong! First of all, the smell in the room was overpowering. At first it smelled like fabric softener, but as the night went on, we realized it was carpet freshener that had been dumped all over to mask the vomit smell. I have pictures of the awful carpet. It wasn't so obvious late at night, but really grotesque in the morning light. Our room was right next to the expressway, so we heard the traffic all night long. Also heard the shower and toilet in the room next door all night long. Well, guess what? Our neighbors were prostitutes!!! We saw them in the morning: short shorts with cheeks exposed, thigh high leather boots--the works. They strutted through the office and breakfast area and wandered back to their room where they left their door wide open (looking for customers?). We heard several of the transient men in the breakfast area commenting about looking for them if no one showed up to take them to a job site that day. Yes, they were definitely transient guys waiting around for someone to pick them up as day labor, probably to make some money for the hookers that night. Totally disgusting and inappropriate for a family stay.
