“Excellent for the money”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 20, 2012

We spent one night here on the way home from Florida. The room was very clean, the bed was very comfortable, the free breakfast was good. I might ask for a room away from the highway side as we could hear the traffic, but we have a sound machine we take with us to block out noises. The wifi worked great and the tv also had great reception. We had a King Suite for $90 which was very spacious. One "complaint" was the bathroom door would not stay open and basically shut as soon as it was opened. Since there was no heat in the bathroom, it was cool in there so we propped the door open to let heat in there. Right off the interstate and very close to Rivergate Mall with lots of restaurants nearby.

Room Tip: Room on backside of hotel away from traffic

The carpets hasn't been vacuumed, the bathroom could use some deep cleaning, and our 2nd story room was welcoming us with a window opened already...not good when you have young kids, and you could hear the neighboring room a lot, only two employees spoke decent English.

This was a great hotel, doesn't have a lot of frills but we weren't looking for that kind of hotel. I booked online and everything was correct (we had made a request for the top floor). I had seen some reviews about road noise since it's right off the interstate however I didn't notice anything. Breakfast was good, (just wish they would have had regular hot chocolate instead of just dark chocolate, but that's definitely minor). We used the pool and hot tub and there were no issues and they were clean. The drive to Nashville was very quick and there was lots of shops and restaurants very close to the hotel. Overall very clean hotel and we would stay again if we go back to Nashville.

We recently spent a week here visiting our daughter and seeing the sites. It was a great location, only minutes to our daughters and to many of the traditional Nashville tourist sites. Our room was spacious and kept very clean. Tasty free breakfast too!

Room Tip: This motel is close to a major highway but we really had very little noise. One evening, there was...

We stopped here for a one night stay during a recent road trip. The room was well appointed, very clean and comfortable. It is VERY near the interstate, so you do get truck traffic noise, but for a one night stay it was tolerable. There are lots of food and shopping choices nearby.

I booked the hotel online though their website after reviewing many hotels online. We had around an 8 hour drive from Michigan and we were sure looking for a nice place to relax. As soon as I walked in I was greated by a pleasant lady who helped me check-in very rapidly. Up to our room we went and for a nice cooled room that was clean and nicer than was expected. We had a four night stay and it was nice to have a microwave and fridge to store snacks and not always having to get ice. Our king bed was very comfortable but the pillows are "puffy" but once your head hits them it just sinks to the mattress so you'll need a couple for support. Yes it's close to the highway but you really don't hear it. Yes if a loud car or semi goes by you'll probably hear it but not enough to give it more than a thought. The pool I don't think is heated but it's clean and refreshing as well the hot tub has awesome jets and is very warm. It's just north of Nashville but it's so convenient, easy on and off I-65. My family will definitely stay here again.

Room Tip: We were on the east side of the hotel away from I-65.

We stayed for one weekend night on our 18 hour drive. The hotel is easy to find and convenient to the freeways. Though we could look out our window and see the highway, we couldn't hear it. The room was clean and furnished as expected, with a small pull out sofa and two double beds. The room was a little small, and you had to be mindful when walking from door to beds, etc., due to the limited walking space. Beds were fairly comfortable. We did not pull out the sofa to sleep. Room temperature was fine, and easily adjustable, though the room unit fan was a little loud. The bathroom was clean overall, with some traces of mildew in one spot where the wall met the ceiling near the tub. The bathroom was pretty spartan, and could use a little updating, particularly the light covering. Towels were plentiful and soft. TV was newer (flat), and the refrigerator was slightly larger than dorm size. We did not use the in-room coffee service.
My kids used the pool in the morning, and had a fun time playing with the few other children who were there. The jacuzzi was very foamy - as if someone had dumped bubble soap in it; foam in some spots was several inches high, so we didn't use it. Pool towels were a little small for size, but provided poolside which was nice. It has a small exercise room but we didn't use it.
The breakfast in the morning runs until 10 am, which was nice for my late sleepers (room darkening shades did their trick). The breakfast space could use some freshening; diner tables and chairs on tile. There were a few cereal selections, yogurt, muffins/breads. The offered a steam tray with some sausages and biscuits, but those are not my thing nor did they look terribly appealing, so we skipped those. They do have an individual Belgian waffle maker and a batter dispenser. It was getting a good deal of us by those willing to wait for their individual turn. It's better than pre-made, but maybe should have at least 2 set up?
We met really only the check-in staff. She was pleasant, and efficient, though that's about all. Contrary to Comfort Suites advertising -- no cookies at any time in the lobby, to my kids' disappointment. If I were staying multiple days, I may want to consider upgrading to a different hotel, but for a short stay, it was just fine.
