“Never gets old!”

We love the hiking trails. The three mile trail is the best. Lots of scenery, benches, wildlife, and enough width to walk side by side. All the trails are clearly marked and mulched.

“Great Get a Way”
Reviewed April 15, 2014

This is a great get-a-way for all. My Kayak group has an outing there with some 30+ kayaks and it was great. You can camp with RV & Tent and electrical & water hookups are there. There are also bathroom and shower facilities if you need that. The also have a day time picnic area that is available for use. The park is right on the water and a boat ramp is across the water from the camp sites or in the park at the end of the drive. There is also a kiddie are with swings and such for the younger ones. I have never been there without seeing a few deer while driving or walking around. Old Hickory lake is not so busy on this end of the lake fishing, kayaking, boating are all excellent choices. Not sure about skiing over here. The are also lots of hiking to be done along the lake shore. Down the road from the park going to Hartsville they have an remote controlled Air Field for those who enjoy flying the planes and there is also an old log cabin to checkout. You cant go wrong with Bledsoe SP in my view. I don't think they accept reservations so check their web site as this kind of thing can change.

“Great place to camp!”
Reviewed November 1, 2013

Made reservations several months ago at Bledsoe Creek State Park for our first ever trip to Nashville area. The site we had reserved was way to small for our 32' travel trailer and too close to the next site. Campground Host saw our struggle and called the park manager. Within minutes we were given a new camp site for our entire 8 day stay. Excellent site and we really enjoyed our stay; found other excellent sites to reserve for our next visit. Nice quiet place to use for our almost daily visits to Music City. Bathrooms are aged, but quite clean and heated.
