This was my mom's most memorable experience during her visit to Nashville. The Art House is magical!! Sydney's art is displayed inside and out. It is beautiful and inspiring. We enjoyed the views from every window, the butterfly garden, sculptures, chanterelle mushrooms, ponds and peaceful bed & breakfast that has every amenity that you could ever hope for. Thank you for thinking of all the little things that make an incredible experience!!
The hostess was outstanding and her dog was very cute and excited to meet new people the day of their arrival but leave you alone afterwards, This is a beautiful place to stay on 60 acres of wooded property so if you cannot find peace from the everyday rat race here, it can't be found. Sydney is an extremely talented artist in many types of artistry that you cannot help but being mesmerized with. There is a place to eat, called Ernie's that you will need instructions and a GPS map to find but even with those it's tricky. Make sure you make a reservation. It is a very cool, very funky place that is most enjoyable. Very limited seating making the atmosphere quaint. Limited menu they do a great job with. I have eaten in restaurants from Miami to Portland and San Diego to Boston as well a most of Canada and I can say that, in my opinion, Ernie's throws down the best scallops I have ever tasted. He doesn't skimp on them either.
If you like nesteled away from the hustle and bustle, but yet just minutes from dinning, activities, entertainment; this is perfect. The Art House is Decorated with all the owners personal artwork and it is a treat to just go through each room and admire her work. I know one always wonders about the comfort, cleanliness, and amenties. This place is Amazing provides all those things. Contemporary in several aspects. The owner, Sidney, goes above and beyond to make sure you have everthing you need. Breakfast foods and other snacks and condiments were provided as well as the linens, towels, hairdryer, etc. Although she has a flatscreen nice tv but no service; do not be disappointed.. She had a dvd and plenty of movies in which you could watch as well as you could bring your favorites. It was very cool when we where there but we still enjoyed walking and the outside deck. It was fun to watch the squirrels chase and play. Just a great place to veg out and get in touch with yourself and God and enjoy family togetherness and that is what we did Thanksgiving Day.

I was excited about my stay at Sydney's cabin from the moment I booked it, but things only got better from that point. The cabin is a perfect little retreat, and Sydney is an incredible host.
The cabin itself is truly a unique space. It's cozy and spacious at the same time and filled with Sydney's stirring art. Everything you might possibly want or need is at your fingertips. The side porch was a perfect place to relax with a glass of wine and good conversation.
The secluded setting was perfect - feeling as if you're miles from anywhere. I could have stayed for a week without wanting to leave. The cabin may seem a little far from Franklin if that's why you're in the area, but the drive is just right - not too far and a nice drive at that.
Sydney did everything she could to accommodate my requests, and she was a pleasure to become acquainted with. I wouldn't hesitate to stay again, and I hope I have the opportunity!
