“Lotz at the Lotz House!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 3, 2014 via mobile

The family history is what takes you in at this home. The horror of the times and yet what a success each member of the family became - renowned artist, skilled inventor, distinguished craftsman. Beautiful home and Sam was an excellent tour guide!

“Informative Tour”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 3, 2014

The tour guide really knew his stuff. We came away with a clear picture of what the Lotz family experience during the war. How it affected their family and what they had to endure. We are glad we took this tour.

Highly recommend this tour! No other house has a cannon ball indentation in the floor! The tour guide was very informative and friendly and very professional. One of the best houses I have seen in a long time.

“Excellent Tour Full Of History”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 3, 2014

If you are looking for history look no further than Franklin TN. The Lotz house is located about 25 miles from Nashville. The house is simply beautiful. The tour costs 10.00 very reasonable. Highlights of the tour include holding a 10lb cannonball that came through the roof during the battle of Franklin. Our tour guide was awesome his name was J.T. Very informative you can tell he loves his job. If you are in Franklin be sure to stop in.

It's a small house packed with many interesting and historical artifacts. Excellent tour guide! The Lotz family surprised me with the stories and history behind each family member.
