Spent Christmas Day here; made reservations about 3 1/2 weeks before and still had about a 25 minute wait for our table. Once we were seated, it was obvious our server did NOT want to be working that day. She wasn't quite rude, but she wasn't attentive, never smiled, seemed like we were ruining her day... ok, she was a little rude. There was quite a bit of wait time between our courses and our glasses weren't refilled unless we asked (after they had been empty a while).

There were 4 of us; we each ordered a "small" entree ("serves 2 or more") plus we had a coupon for a free small entree, so, theoretically, we had enough to serve 10 or more. Again, there were only 4 of us. We barely had any leftovers and we aren't huge eaters! So, it seems as if the portion size must have gotten smaller.

The food quality wasn't quite as good as it has been on our previous visits. One thing I have kept coming back to Buca for was the great fresh-tasting food. This particular visit was a let down. Our Baked Ziti came to the table barely warm, dry and was absolutely nothing special taste-wise for sure. The Margherita Pizza was good, but the tomatoes tasted very canned. The salad was the best thing we had; it was cold and fresh, but lacked a couple of the ingredients printed on the menu. The Manicotti, which is usually my favorite, was good, but not great. My son got the Spinach Florentine and it was really good. Tiramisu for dessert was wonderful!

I love the atmosphere and will return, but hopefully to a little better food quality next time.

This is the 3rd time that we have dined at Buca di Beppo. We find that this is a fun atmosphere for special occasions. The menu is well laid out and offers entrees and sides in either small or large sizes. The small size will serve two people adequately and the large will serve at least 4 diners. We chose the large Apple Gorgonzola Salad which was fresh and very very tasty. The Vegetable Lasagna was also very tasty with an alfredo cream sauce. We also chose the large size Quattro Al Forno which is acombination of four pastas, cheese manicotti, chicken cannelloni, cheese ravioli and stuffed shells. In addition to being delicious and well prepared, there were left overs after 4 of us were stuffed. Noel was our server and very attentive. We would make a point of asking for her on our next visit. The walls are covered with photos of some Italian significance and most are hilarious! Make a point to look at as many as you can. Great place in Cool Springs. We will be back.

We went to Buca Di Beppo on Christmas night. Our family of six was vacationing in Nashville, and arrived into town a few hours prior to dinner. I had spent a lot of time researching what restaurants would be open Christmas night, and this was one of the few I found. We made reservations well in advance of our arrival, and called a few hours prior to confirm.

When we arrived promptly for our 6:00 reservation the place was a MAD HOUSE! It soon became apparent that they were running over one hour behind. Customers picking up their carryout orders were also waiting over an hour to get their food.

They tried to console the standing room only crowd with pepsi, bread, and lasagna, but that did little to satisfy everyone. At one point we saw the hostess leave the podium in tears and frustration.

Clearly the restaurant had way over booked, making their profit a priority over customer satisfaction and timeliness. They had requested our phone number when we made the reservation, and it would have been nice to get a phone call to let us know we wouldn't be seated until over an hour after our reservation. Our hearts went out to the employees who sacrificed spending the holidays with their beloved families, and ended up being in this chaotic situation due to their employers poor management and greed. I'm sure it was felt in their tips at the end of the night.

The food was just okay. The food for our party of six came out at all different times. By the time my salad arrived the rest of our family was finished eating. I would have sent it back, but didn't want our server to be cited.

In the end it would have been nice if the they had tried just a little harder to make up for the Christmas fiasco. Taking a small percentage off of everyone's bill, as a show of good will, would have gone a long way.

Ate here during a Nashville vacation with best friends. Made sharing our meals very easy. Seafood was good, pasta was good, veal saltimboca was good. Wine list was rather large. Fun place to eat with good food and good service.
