Finding a really good seafood restaurant in Franklin, Tennessee was a pleasant surprise. We ate there on a Saturday night and were entertained by a great band which was a big hit and interacted well with the diners. Raw and baked oysters, a favorite of mine, were excellent and the service was fast and friendly. Other seafood dishes at the table were reported to be good as well. We will go back there on our next visit.

We ate here on a walking food tour. Great shrimp, oysters and onion rings. The atmosphere is fun to look at all the photos.

So refreshing to have more options to eat in downtown Franklin. I have enjoyed every visit there and everything I have sampled from their coconut shrimp with their own made in-house sauce to fresh oysters have been delicious. I do agree with another reviewer that the prices are a little high but the food and excellent and friedly service are worth the extra $s.
One caveat- the place can get absolutely packed out on Friday and Saturday nights and they do not take reservations for small parties so use the "call ahead", "wait list" option.
I believe they have a private dining room upstairs.

I'm not a fan of the original puckett's, but this seafood location just down the street was fantastic!

The oysters were shockingly large, and tasty!

I will not eat here often, as the prices are very high - but would recommend anyone else wanting to try it, to do so!

A nice addition to the Nashville area restaurant scene. Every item we ordered was delicious and had a nice twist. Three dining areas-- from diner counter to TV sports bar to nice dining room with southern boat dock decor. Fried pickle appetizer had wonderfully flavored homemade(?) pickles, and instead of crab cakes, they offer light, crunchy shrimp cakes. BBQ shrimp and grits were luscious (although could have been a tiny bit better with grilled shrimp). Grilled grouper with a creamy sauce was terrific, and the creamed spinach had hints of spice that made it extra good. We wandered down to The Bait Shop (where they bait you with desserts) and decided to order several to go. Unbelievable key lime pie with a golden crust made with finely chopped pecans. The best key lime pie ever! Attentive, sweet service. Only disappointment was no music. Maybe we were too early Wednesday.
