“Great Downtown”
Reviewed November 13, 2013

We visited Franklin between our backstage tour of the Opry and the evening show and thoroughly enjoyed it. It reminded us of the small towns on the eastern shore of Maryland that have survived. The weather was perfect as we strolled around the town. A new spice store had just opened and we roamed around smelling all the herbs and spices. The owner was especially attentive and helpful. Of course, we picked a few to bring home. This was a wonderful way to spend an afternoon.

“Wonderful town”
Reviewed November 6, 2013

Visited with friends to learn more about our Civil War and how it impacted the small town of Franklin. Loved walking the sidewalks, visiting the small "non chain" stores and restaurants. Will return.

“Nice little town to shop - but high-end”
Reviewed November 2, 2013

Cute place to stroll around, but know the shops are higher-end. Unique, though.
We were there on the day of their pumpkin fest - so there were lots of crafters and that was FUN!

“Loved this place!”
Reviewed October 31, 2013

The previous traveler comments I don't understand. This is an awesome spot to go to. We loved the shops and music. I had excellent shrimp creole at a restaurant on the main street and I also had beignets for the first time (to die for). I could definitely make Franklin my home town-absolutely beautiful!
