“A great tribute to those lost!”
Reviewed August 19, 2012

Cemetery upkeep is very nice. No way to ID graves without appropriate book bearing code on markers as stones are old. Book sold in Visitors Center.

“Moving Historical Cemetery”
Reviewed August 18, 2012

Visit the cemetery after you visit the home. The visitor will appreciate the cemetery more after they know the history behind it. The story is a wonderful one. Carrie McGavock was a caring individual who provided a final resting place for many soldiers and made sure the cemetery was maintained during her life time.

“So fascinating!”

So interesting. How wonderful that someone would take such care to bury the remains of so many unknown soldiers.
