Not your cookie cutter hotel. Fun relaxed atmosphere from checkin to checkout. Not a luxury hotel, but clean with all the modern updates. No door to bathroom but not a real problem. Would be happy to stay here againMore

We appreciate your positive feedback on our hotel and your recent stay. We look forward to welcoming you back in the near future!
I had heard neat things about Aloft being trendy . My husbands impression of this hotel was that he was waiting to pull out a drawer and sleep in it as we have seen Japanese people do in comedies ! It was teenie tiny . I describe this a a fairly clean, small minimalist hotel . I had bid and won a great rate however I would NEVER pay full rate . Every thing seemed budget . The lobby was cool and gives you the illusion the rest of hotel follows but that is not the case. Sorry Aloft not our style !!
nice new hotel. Decor is mordern and different from the rest. Well designed. Good location as lots of resturants and shopping options. The patio is well designed and ideal to have a drink or snack. Good variety of beers available
Thank you for taking the time to share your positive comments about our hotel with us! We're pleased to hear you enjoyed our hotel and the Aloft style and hope to see you back very soon.
From the second you walk in the door this is a cool looking hotel. It's all modern and boutiqu-y. The outside patio is really cool as is the pool. It's convienently located to Cool Springs Galleria and tons of restaurants, etc. The room is cool looking and they provide a port thing so you can hook any device into the TV (assuming you brought the cables). Unfortunately, that's where the room stop being good. The bed is AWEFUL! The comforter is extremely lumpy, which wouldn't be bad on it's own and once you are under it it's fine - but sitting on the bed is not a comfortable option, while it's still made. They give you 3 crappy (standard size) pillows for a king size bed. The pillows are either flat or hard as a rock and lumpy (like the bed spread). The bed itself is hard as a rock and so uncomfortable.
Note: We'd stayed at the West End Aloft a few months ago and remembered how cool looking it had been but after a night at the Cool Springs location we were reminded why we hadn't had any desire to stay there again... the bed sucks there, too. Unlike the West End location they don't have Kuerigs in the room here (which would have at least made my morning a little better).
The bathroom: The bathroom is set up so that the shower (there is no tub) and the toilet are in a room with a sliding door and the sink (poorly positioned for sharing) is in an entry-way. The wall of the shower is frosted glass so that when you turn on the light in the toilet/shower area it bleeds (quite loudly) into the bedroom area. It's like you have just turned on the light in the whole room by turning on the light in the toilet. There was a note on the shower that said to avoid setting off the fire detector you had to close the sliding door between the toilet area and the sink area (poor design). The shower door doesn't seal at all when it is closed (and will actually open either into the shower or out into the toilet area). This left a lake on the bathroom floor after a single shower. since it does open into the shower, as well (with no limits) it wouldn't surprise me if at some point it didn't crack the frosted glass between the shower and the bedroom area.
Overall, this is just a poorly designed hotel that took style over substance to the extreme. It doesn't matter how cool your rooms look when they don't function properly.
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback about your recent stay with us. While we are pleased to hear you found our location convenient, we are disappointed to hear of the issues you encountered at our hotel and want to apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you. At Aloft we know how important it is to provide you with a comfortable room where you can relax and unwind. We understand your frustration and take reviews of our hotel very seriously as a means to improve moving forward, so I have passed your comments along to the rest of the hotel management team so we may look into these issues further.
Nice place, different look and atmosphere. Room was nice, but the bed and pillows were awful. Hard, hard bed. Road noise from the highway was very loud. Layout of room, bathroom, etc was nice. We were greeted nicely when we checked in but never greeted again, coming or going.
Front desk staff not attentive to folks walking in or out. Had the bed been a good one, we'd come back. It would have been nice to get some kind of breakfast included.
Aloft Cool Springs - Nashville is conveniently located off I-65 south of Nashville and surrounded by multiple shopping & dining venues. The hotel itself offers various amenities from a hip bar/lounge/billiards table area off of the lobby to an exterior entertaining space accented by contemporary furnishings & a see-through gas fireplace; an indoor pool and workout facility are also on the property as well as a "grab & go" type of food area for snacks, coffee, fresh fruit, energy drinks, soda, water etc. The guest rooms are again accented by contemporary furnishings, wi-fi, and a game/computer HDMI port for all of your traveling electronics. Aloft brand hotels are not innundated as other brands are in most American cities so if presented with a choice in your region of travel, I would highly recommend it - my previous Aloft stay was in Birmingham, Alabama and was as pleasing as the current.
Thank you for taking the time to highlight some of the features at our hotel. We appreciate your feedback and are happy to hear that you would recommend our hotel to others. We hope that in your future travels you continue to stay at Aloft and see how each of our hotels is unique.
