My husband and I stayed there for a weekend while visiting family in the area. We were upgraded to a suite and it included a spacious living area and full kitchen with separate bedroom. We weren't there except to sleep so the extra space was wasted on us, but it was nice to have a full size fridge to store extra drinks and snacks. The breakfast was fine. Our room was clean and quiet. Lighting was sort of dark as it seems motels are now. The pool was outside our room and don't think we would have wanted to stay there in the summer with pool noise. All in all, no complaints and we would stay there again.

Stayed here for business in September, was very pleased with the overall accomdation. The staff was helpful and polite throughout my 3 day stay. I stayed in a doubles room and had more than enough space with two people in the room. Bed was very comfortable and the furnishings are pretty updated. Breakfast had the usual selections (hot offerings as well as cereal and yogurt). They also offer bagged breakfast to go, in case you're in a hurry. The eating area could have a few more tables, since everyone seems to be eating breakfast at 7-7:30am. Hotel is next to the mall as well as a nice restaurant (didn't go but heard great reviews from my co-workers). Overall, a good stay with clean accomodations and polite staff.

Room Tip: Stay towards the back of the hotel, away from the main street to reduce traffic noises.

My husband and I spent four nights in Oct 2011 at this hotel when in the area for a wedding. Our suite was very large and comfortable, complete with a full kitchen and separate living room. The staff at the reception desk was very helpful in sharing info about the Franklin - Nashville area which was new to us. Jennifer provided us with wonderful detailed recommendations for hiking trails nearby. Breakfasts were good; wifi worked great. Food and service at close by Jonathan's Grille was excellent!

We've stayed at this Inn several times and have always been pleased - until this time. The room was okay but it was cold because the air conditioner couldn't be adjusted. It was either cold or not running at all. The wall thermostat obviously didn't work. The breakfast was disappointing. No rhyme nor reason to the way it was put out. Plates and napkins were hard to find, one of the cereal dispensers didn't work, the tables weren't wiped and were sticky with syrup. The attendant didn't could barely speak English and didn't seem to understand when I suggested that they needed wiping. The trash containers were full to overflowing! The check-in crew were great but there was no one at the desk when we checked out so we just left the key. We'll definitely look elsewhere when we are there next time.

Stayed here for a family reunion surrounding the fourth of July. Rooms and lobby were updated and very clean. We had a room with a King bed and a sofa sleeper. Very comfortable and clean, as well as updated. The a/c was a bit glitchy and hard to control, but for the most part it did ok. The continental breakfast was good, yummy Hampton waffles and a decent variety where everyone found something they liked. Very nice that they have a coffee/tea station out all day long. They also had a very small but useful little shop for things like drinks and snacks, forgotten items like sunscreen, etc. Great parking as well.

Only two complaints, but not really deal-breakers.
#1 - The pool is VERY small and needs a good cleaning a lot more often then they probably do. You can't see your feet at the bottom, it was overly chlorinated, not-heated and somewhat greasy looking. After about 5 minutes I was ready to pull my kids out and bathe them in bleach.
#2 - The lobby/breakfast area is very crowded. Even at half capacity it was very hard to maneuver around the very crowded tables and a funny bar area going down the middle. Hard to find places to sit with a group of more than four. Even after breakfast was over, it was quite hard to go through the lobby to the pool as they move all the tables around to clean for about 3 hours.

Overall, would definitely stay here again.

Room Tip: Request anywhere but the first floor - there are entrances on all sides of the buildings with VERY loud doors that bang all-night-long!
