“Octoberfest buffet”
Reviewed October 22, 2013

Our only experience at this restaurant was for an Octoberfest buffet while on a short vacation. The service was excellent, attentive and friendly. The ambience was nice with a very low-key "band" playing a mixture of music. The food was good, not memorable. The place was packed with locals and tourists alike, a popular gathering spot.

“Great Oktoberfest buffet”
Reviewed October 13, 2013 via mobile

Our trip to Legends was a great one, we shared a table with people we had never met before because the restaurant was so packed. My husband was in heaven because of the large German spread they had. The service was great and the company better. If you go in October, please stop in and get a taste of german food.

“Living Up To The Legend(s)”
Reviewed October 13, 2013

We had the opportunity to visit Legends in Fairfield Glade twice during a recent trip to the resort. Both experiences were entirely positive.

Breakfast, ordered off the regular breakfast menu one morning was very nice with a very friendly waitstaff, even though we arrived right at the tail end of the serving hours for breakfast. I only had coffee (which was quite good), and my wife ordered French toast and ham, and orange juice. The order arrived promptly and had a nice presentation. My wife said she liked the French toast, but said what I prepare at home was better (what else could she say, right . . .?). Overall, the friendliness of waitstaff made this a nice visit.

We had dinner the same week at Legends - on the night where the prime rib bar special was offered ($19.95). I had the prime rib, which was a very generous cut of meat, which had good flavor and was cooked just about perfect. The prime rib was supplemented with 'smashed' potatoes, rice and green beans, along with a very nice salad bar. The potatoes were particularly laudable, and they had a great flavor, a smooth texture - but where they had not quite been turned into conventional mashed potatoes. My only suggestion would have been for those ordering off the prime rib bar to provide guests with the standard size dinner plate - as my very generous portion of prime rib nearly filled the entire, smaller size plate I was given (I'll willingly concede that this criticism about too much prime rib on the plate definitely belongs in the category of "a curse of riches")

My wife had the petite filet, with 'smashed' potatoes, and broccoli and cauliflower - all of which she proclaimed to be quite good. The dinner rolls were a particular hit, as they were soft, light and warm bundles of flavor. Once again the waitstaff made this a great experience, as our waiter (Mike) showed just the right level of attentiveness - without going overboard. He scored extra points (and a corresponding tip), for providing my wife with 2-3 additional dinner rolls . . . "for the road". Overall, this was a great experience and a tremendous value.

“Yummy for their breakfast brunch”
Reviewed October 13, 2013

Enjoyed a buffet lunch with friends who play golf and live nearby. Staff amiable and helpful. Situated in a lovely part of Fairfield Glade. The whole area is stunning and spaced out. Price reasonable - eat what you like. Just go back for more. You watch the chef making about 5 omelettes at a time - amazing achievement with various fillings. Delicious food
