We stayed here for one night after riding the nearby restored train from Etowah to Copper Hill. Ducktown is a nice little mining town. The B&B is on the shortest Main Street I have ever seen which dead ends at the police station.
The host was a great guy who had restored the home from the ground up (actually below ground). If you get a chance, ask him to play Amazing Grace or the Tennessee Waltz on his fantastic old grand piano!
Usually you have to stay two nights but they have one room with a Murphy bed (comfortable) just for one night stays.
The breakfast was great. We left ready to take on the day.
A couple of days at the Company House is a great way to pick up the history of the area, and you wont find a friendlier host.
Morning coffee on the side porch was so relaxing.

Room Tip: Try to stay 2 nights for the best rooms.

Ducktown is at the eastern end of the Ocoee River rafting area, and is close to a number of rafting operators. What we saw of Ducktown was not especially attractive, and the tiny Main Street is generally rather seedy. However, The Company House itself is a lovely gem. The owners carefully renovated a century-and-a-half-old house on a grassy, tree-shaded lot. Cross the porch with its rocking chairs into a large vestibule with a quaint parlor to the left (including big-screen TV and piano) and the dining room straight ahead.

There are several rooms at the rear of the first first floor. We took a large, airy room on the upper floor. It had a comfortable queen bed with a magnificent wood headboard, as well as a separate single bed, and plenty of room left for an antique armoire and sitting chair. There is no TV or radio in the room.

Each room has its own bathroom. Ours was roomy and comfortable. My only complaint, as a six-foot-tall person, was that I had to crouch to get my head under the low shower head.

Owners Mike and Margie were friendly and hospitable. They made us feel welcome, and were were glad to explain the history and attractions of the house and the area. In the morning, they served us a large, delicious breakfast that included homemade banana bread.

We thoroughly enjoyed our brief stay at The Company House and would be happy to return and to recommend it to others.

This quaint B&B is great if you want clean and homey accomodations before or after rafting with Ocoee Rafting. The breakfast is wonderful -- very plentiful -- and the owners are very nice and helpful.

The Company House was the first Bed and Breakfast I had ever stayed in. It was a neat little place, very cozy and relaxing. It just felt like home sweet home. Mike and Margie were very welcoming and kind. I only wished we could have stayed longer to get to know them better! Mike, the inn-keeper, kept us entertained with his MARVELOUS piano playing. The piano playing set the mood for the relaxing evening. The bed was very comfortable, and the room was very clean. We slept like babies and then woke up to a HUGE, DELICIOUS breakfast that NO restaurant could compete with. All in all, this place was extremely peaceful and relaxing. I would definately stay again!

We stayed at The Company House B and B after white water rafting. We flew into the local airport and were picked up by the rafting company van.

We borrowed a jeep for the short ride to the Inn. The innkeeper followed to help return the jeep and offered to drive us to dinner, except the other couple staying there took us with them. We had a grand time at the restaurant the Innkeeper recommended.

The bed was not too squishy, not too hard, the water hot, the room a very decent size at a great price.

After a fabulous breakfast with more food than the folks at the table could possibly eat, and entertainment from the Innkeeper and plenty more food coming from his wife we were sure we would sink the next rafting boat that came our way!

We hiked in the hills, ate lunch in the town, and the Innkeeper returned us to the airport.

The backyard was lovely, a great place to relax and enjoy the water feature.

I would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to everyone.
