We rafted yesterday, Thursday, August 22 and every part of our experience was excellent. Nick and Will took our two rafts out as a team. The debriefing was thorough and informative. Nick was our guide for our raft. He was professional and funny. The weather and water were in our favor and everyone had a great time. About half-way through the middle run of the river we stopped for a short hike up a creek to a waterfall. This was a nice touch to the experience. At the conclusion of the trip down the river we headed back to the outpost to check our pictures from the excursion--and to grab our car. It was great to find hot, clean, showers. We took showers and relaxed while we waited for a late afternoon rain storm to pass. As it rained we played corn-hole on the front porch. We didn't feel run-off or an less service from the crew after our return to the outpost. This was great. I would like to remind travelers out there to BRING CASH to TIP these kids. They keep you safe and help you enjoy your day! If you're ever in doubt of when to tip a guide I would go with a "yes" to the one who makes sure you don't bash your skull on a class 4 rapid rock! Thanks Nick and team!
