The Dandridge Country Club, about 30-minutes from Pigeon Forge, is a nice place. The folks there are very nice and the course is in very good condition. The lay-out is rather wide open. A couple of the holes are interesting, however, for the most part, the golf is pretty easy and straight forward. Nonetheless, the
conditions are that of a rather nice municipal track, and at $31/player (fees & cart), it is a very good golfing value.
We played four different courses near Pigeon Forge (Bent Creek, Dandridge, Rogul's Ferry, and Patriot Hills). Dandridge is one of the nicer ones; however, Patriot Hills (right up the road) is the best. If you can, play both!
