Our family loves it every time we camp here. We invited some friends to camp with us and they loved it as well. All the kids enjoyed fishing and playing tennis, basketball, football, and the playgrounds.

We stayed in Crossville for the World's Longest Yard Sale. Last year we stayed at another park which was fine, but nothing special at all. It was closer to the interstate. Deer Run is quite a little drive from the interstate (about 15 minutes through a residential/country road). The road condition was good and the drive was well worth it!

I can definitely say that Deer Run is special! It's VERY big and really beautiful! Everything is kept looking immaculate. The bath houses were very clean at all times.

The bath houses aren't close to the RV sections of the park. You'll probably need to drive to them (or they rent golf carts) if you need the use of a bath house. They ARE close to the tent camping section, though.

They only have one laundry facility with 4 washers and 4 dryers. One of the washers didn't spin the water out of the clothes, luckily the guy that it happened to, warned us, so we didn't use that one.

The store/clubhouse/deli is really nice. The people were even nicer! The workers were SOOOO friendly!

You absolutely can't go wrong staying at Deer Run!

We took a long holiday weekend here and it is a beautiful place. We stayed in a fully furnished cabin for under $100 a night. They even provided firewood and an outside pit to have a small camp fire. Lots to do here. You can stay in a cabin, bring your RV or just camp in a tent. Fishing and walking the trails is what we did. The whole park even has Wi-Fi so you can bring you laptop and keep up with emails after a long day. It's also gated off to keep out any undesirables. It's a long dive from where we live, but sure would like to go back.

From the moment you arrive at Deer Run and enter the expansive registration/store/deli you know you are not at any run of the mill RV park. Top of the line all the way and priced reasonably, there is no reason to stay anywhere else in the Knoxville area. The grounds are impeccable. We stayed in a Class A with a dingy and had the largest and widest pull through we have ever seen. This, and a lovely view of the 25 acre lake. We used our inflatable boat for the first time and it was so much fun to paddle out amongst the Canada geese and watch the fish (some were pretty sizeable!) leap. Last night the walkway across the dam was lit up and was a very pretty sight. This facility is 200 acres so it might be worth it to rent a golf cart to see it all at a leisurely pace. We highly recommend Deer Run!

Room Tip: It's a mile drive back in the park, but spaces 300-350 are well worth it in terms of serenity, s...

Our first trip with our new Jayco Trailer and the perfect place to do so. Very Friendly, helpful staff. Level Sites. Full Hook-ups. We participated in some of the activities provided for the Labor Day weekend and found the residents to be great. We will stay here again!

Beautiful setting with everything you need to make great family memories. The location was perfect, bathrooms and showers were so clean, and the ladies at check-in/General store were so helpful. We would love to visit again and stay at one of the precious cabins on the lake.

My husband and I stayed here for the first time in Sept. 2011 and we loved it! Our cabin had a beautiful view of the nearby lake shore from the covered front porch . The cabin was very clean and extremely well-stocked with everything we needed for our four-night stay. They even have satellite TV! It was so peaceful and quiet and with the gate at the entrance, no worries about rowdy or potentially dangerous visitors to the campground. Lots of roads for walking, biking, etc. We even checked out the bathhouses in case we wanted to come back and tent camp and found them to be clean and roomy. The laundry facilities were neat and well-lighted with working appliances. We found the staff to be very friendly and helpful and the camp store/deli is spacious and has many needed items, along with WiFi. The location is perfect if you want to take a day trip to Nashville or Knoxville or just go into Crossville to visit stores or museums. Would be great for a family reunion or church retreat. Overall we were very pleased and this has become our new favorite park--we will definitely be back!!!

Room Tip: If booking a cabin, the Hummingbird is the largest and most private for only $10 more. The other 2...
