We are spending a couple of days in Crossville, TN. After reading reviews on TripAdvisor we decided to try the R & B Café and were NOT disappointed. We arrived at about 10 am on a Sunday and were seated right away. The café was quite busy and there were many waiting for a table when we left. I called for directions as our GPS could not find them. One of the owners, Regina, helped me over the phone. PLEASE NOTE: their address is 25 Peavine Plaza, Suite 102, Crossville, TN but the GPS address is 3980 Peavine Road.

The service was excellent. We both had the Sage Sausage breakfast casserole special and were impressed. It was more than you could eat and delicious. We hope to return for another breakfast before we leave the area. The musical décor brought back many great memories. This is a family business and it shows.

We had breakfast before golf. It was well prepared and good dollar value. A 'local place' with friendly locals. Service very friendly. Inside was interesting; would be fun to go for the music on Friday or Saturday.

We had breakfast and lunch (on different days) at this restaurant. The place is small but well-run. Service was attentive and friendly. The food was excellent!! Great southern breakfast...we especially like the crispy lean bacon! We will return whenever we are in the area again.

I went by this restaurant and snubbed my nose at it.....So Wrong!!!!! Two days later. I said what the heck. Lets try it, can not be worse then a big chain we ate at and disliked. So, we pull into this tiny strip mall area with only 2 or 3 business places surviving....walking in was like stepping into a fifties breakfast place...Breakfast was so inexpensive!!! Husband Had omelet, biscuits and gravy combo, he is very picky about his Biscuits and gravy and was extremely satisfied with quality of food!!! I had pancake combo....everything was cooked to perfection...the pancake was huge and delicious flavor!!!!!! If not a big eater....You can get 2 biscuits with gravy for $2.25!!! One pancake is only a $1.95!!!! Great portion.....reasonable prices....fantastic tasting breakfast..and great service,,,, will try lunch. Next, ........darn...... Only one more day left...wish I had not passed this by at start of week. They also have entertainment in eves...A must stop if you are in crossville tn

Ate breakfast twice while visiting Fairfield Glade. Great food and plenty of if for a good price. If you go on Sunday, go early before 9:30 AM before churches let out.
