“Pretty Good”

The food was good, not as good as some but not bad either, the service was good. I would eat here again.

“Something missing . . .”
Reviewed February 25, 2012

Been to both Cancun restaurants in Crossville, neither memorable. Restaurant looks tired and need of remodel. Food & service average. They seem to resist putting tomatoes in tacos (just meat, cheese, & lettuce), flavor boring.

“Delicious and fresh! (not 'gourmet', but excellent food and value)”
Reviewed December 28, 2011

I have eaten at Cancun's many times.
And, the food is always very good!!!!

No it is not 'gourmet'....
and, if you order something basic, like a beef burrito... come on, how outstanding can beef in a burrito be.... It is ALL in what one orders!

My husband LOVES the chimichangas, always very hot and fresh, drizzled with what one might call 'magic' mexican white cheese sauce. Served with excellent lightly seasoned mexican rice, refried beans, and the garnish is a small salad with shredded lettuce topped with fresh pico and a good dollop of fresh sour cream.

No, it is not 'gourmet'
No, it is not really super authentic.
But, it is always completely fresh and delicious!

NOTE: after reading a few past reviews... I have also noted that the staff (the staff and ownership are 100% mexican) here are not really with the custom of making sure every dish is delivered to the table at one time, together..... Everything always comes very quickly!!! Just not exactly together every time. Especially if it is your child who is left without a plate for a couple of minutes, that can be an issue. Perhaps they will read this review????

Other than this slight issue, service is always, always, fast and courteous if not really friendly.

I will agree that the regular salsa is 'okay'....
Maybe this is more 'authentic' to what is served in Mexico???
I actually much prefer the Tostito's Restaurant Style salsa.
But the mini-carafe of hot tomato sauce usually comes with warm fresh tortilla chips. And, I never feel wanting. Believe me, I would NEVER, ever, choose taco bell. (which incidentally, used to be 50 feet away across the parking lot!)

We never leave hungry!
