We booked this cabin for our honeymoon it was a nice cabin. fairly clean. however the amenities or basic things you expect to have when staying for a week were lacking. 1 roll of toilet paper, and 4 bleach stained towels for a whole week( did request more however none were provided. the hot water lasted for about 10 minutes. the fireplace was nice, (no wood provided), all the heat else wise is a small electric base board that didn't keep us warm so we bought wood. we decided to cook some of our meals in doing so found out that only 2 of the four burners work. could be a beautiful cabin just needs some thought and a little love put into it. would consider staying again though but would negotiate price. definitely not a roach pit though.

At Wildwood Mountain Cabins we strive to offer the best cabin rentals in the Smoky Mountains, offering the best in customer satisfaction. This guest was in regular communication with the property manager throughout their stay and said everything was great. He never mentioned the burners, the towels, nor the toilet paper, otherwise the property manager would have sent maintenance and housekeeping over right away. It is important to note when renting cabins in the smoky mountains, most rentals do not supply your wood, it is customary for the guest to bring their own firewood. Furthermore, it is a cabin, like a house, it is not a hotel with conceirge service, when renting a cabin guests are expected to bring their own additional paper products like toilet paper, and additional towels, their own soaps, etc...renting a cabin is to experience the outdoors like camping but in a cabin. At Wildwood Mountain, linens are provided and a full kitchen with your basic pots & pans, dishes, and utensils.
It is unfortunate that this guest did not address their concerns during their stay so that we would have had the opportunity to remedy the situation. We have numerous cabins listed all of which rank with 4 to 5 star ratings. We take our customer's feedback seriously and are committed to their satisfaction.
