Very pleasantly surprised with our meal at Bombay House. My sons and I had the buffet for lunch. A really good value considering all the choices. We really liked the mushroom dish with a yummy sauce to dip our naan in. Yes, once you are seated they bring out a basket of hot, crispy naan. You can just eat naan and be satisfied. It is so good. The tandoori chicken was flavorful as well as the lamb meatballs. We also enjoyed the fried potato fritter and other veggies in the different sauces. At this point we are fairly full but had to try the desserts....so glad we did! My son loves the rice pudding. The gulab jamun and milk cake was the perfect ending to a delicious meal. The restaurant is clean and well maintained. The service is prompt and courteous. We'll be back!

If you want an authentic north indian food experience, try the bombay house. Just exceptional tandoori naan, chicken, kebabs and grill. The flavors are very authentic and delicious.

Great food and service. The way they present the food is really nice. Check mango lassi out, too! Delicious!

We go to Bombay House about once a month, on average. Our visits are probably equally split between lunch (the buffet) and dinner (ordering off the menu). I assume it's possible to order off the menu at lunch but I've never done it as the buffet is consistently good and is a great value.

The lunch buffet typically offers daal (lentils), sag (spinach), a couple of other vegetarian dishes like cauliflower or potatoes, and then there's chicken curry and lamb meatballs in tomato butter sauce. You also get naan bread with your meal. The buffet is always clean and they do a good job of keeping well-stocked. The food quality does not suffer just because it's on a buffet.

Ordering dinner off the menu is definitely the way to go, though! We have NEVER had a bad entree. My personal favorite is Murg Makhani. The butter & tomato gravy is TO DIE FOR. Other dishes that are consistently very good include: Lamb Korma, Rogan Josh, Sag (with any meat), and the Biryani. The naan must be ordered on its own for dinner; this is probably the one and only thing I'd change about the restaurant. :)

The staff is always very friendly and service is prompt. You might see that little copper bowl come out and think, "Wow, that's not very much food..." but it really is! We always get at least 2 full meals out of each entree, and that's with sharing at dinner. Also, you're allowed to specify the spice level you'd like for each dish so you don't have to worry about it being too hot (or too mild) for your taste.

Bombay house is in a strip mall, but don't let that deter you. I usually eat the lunch buffet and always leave miserably full! The food is so good I usually can't stop eating. The service is usually pretty good- seems to be a family run operation. Typical Indian restaurant decor (plain place settings with several murals on the walls).
