“Give it a try!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 25, 2013 via mobile

Not too many local places in cookeville but we found this one because of trip advisor and the other reviews. They were right, it was a great little spot with delicious pizza and sandwiches. We stopped at lunch and had single slices of the veggie and 4 cheese pizza, and both were tasty delights! Nice amount of toppings with delicious cheese on a crisp crust that wasn't too thin or thick. We also had a cannoli for desert and it was one of the best we've had. Just like the other reviewers said, the owners made sure to check that we were happy. They seemed like a very friendly group wanting to please and they did. The prices were very reasonable. We want to go back and try the other sandwiches.

“Great lunch for unreal low price”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 21, 2013

On vacation and wanted to eat at a good local eatery. Checked trip advisor and this was rated #1. Walked in to a good atmosphere very welcoming staff. Small menu but something for everyone. We ordered the Reuben, gyros, and shawsema(?). It was all good went to pay at the end and for 4 meals and 4 drinks it was only $18!!! We are from ND and you can't get 2 meals for that sometimes even one meal! Great place check it out I in Cookeville, TN!

“Great food and wonderful people”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 9, 2013

Located in the West Side historic district of Cookeville this little deli and market is a gem. We were warmly greeted by the owners with huge smiles. The smells of pizza fresh from the oven and the warm surroundings make you feel welcome when you walk in the door. The pizza is fantastic with one of the best crusts I have ever tasted. Great crunch without being charred or dry! They had five different pies ready to sell by the slice and whole pies are also available. They happily explained each type of pizza ready and seemed truly excited that we were there. A wide selection of sandwiches are offered with top quality ingredients. There display case of meat, cheeses and olives were a great appetizer.
We selected the vegetarian pizza and a side of past salad. The pizza was truly loaded with veggies and cheese. The pasta salad was dressed with a wonderful olive salad and not dripping oil as most pasta salads usually are. My wife finished with a cannoli for dessert and was very happy with that also. Several tables are inside with a couple more on the sidewalk.
Such nice people who own this business with wonderfully fresh food at a fantastic price to feed your hunger! The tasteful interior makes you feel that you are in a special place and their quality products line the shelves for you to take home. Support this business! There are very few left around like this.

“Best pizza, great owners, unique grocery items”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 17, 2013 via mobile

Best pizza anywhere...excellent crust! Love the Gyros and the Reuben. Beautiful cheese selections. We always buy our olive oil here as well. If you are seeking Mediterranean groceries, check with World Foods...oh, and have a slice while you shop...you will be glad you stopped in!

“Best pizza in town”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 1, 2013 via mobile

Terrific atmosphere and even better food, this place is a hidden gem. The cheese and tomato pizza is as authentic as it comes and one of the best pizzas I've ever eaten.

Prices are great and grocery selections are fantastic.

A great spot for lunch.
