No carpet on the floor. furniture was out dated. Adjustable desk chair could not be
adjusted. Bathroom needed refurbished. Sink had a crack in it. The room door opened
to the parking lot. That would have been great, except ,that you could see the light
coming from under the bottom of the door! The breakfast was not very good. But it was ok.
There was not enough seating in the breakfast room.
The stool in the bathroom was good-new, with a high seat. Also the heater/air was good.
The bed was a little too soft, but ok. I really like the old concept of the room door facing to
the parking lot. But rooms need to be updated.
Room was clean!!! Really important.

It was nice very clean and needed update. Shower was bad and very small bathroom. Breakfast was so so.

You deserved a comfortable and stress-free stay, and it appears we fell short. Room was extremely dirty with live bugs and possibly blood on an electrical outlet. Portable refrigerator had mold and mildew on the door seal. Sheets and towels were stained. The breakfast had no protein and the toaster that broke during breakfast. They charged additional for a third adult in a room - I have never heard of a hotel doing this. When I complained to the front desk at checkout, I was told there was nothing she could do but that she would have the owner call me. A week and a half later, I have not heard from him. If I had have paid $40/room, I would have expected this but the rooms were over $120/night. Looked like rooms you would rent by the hour. If our grandkids had not been worn out from a day of travel, I would have gotten my money back and slept in the car.
On behalf of our hotel and our staff we sincerely apologize for failing to meet not only your expectations, but our own standards as well. There is no excuse for providing you with anything less than a spotless, well maintained room and it is clear we've missed the mark during your recent stay. We have shared your comments with the appropriate departments to ensure the issues you encountered are addressed and prevented moving forward. Again we genuinely apologize for any inconvenience we may have caused and would greatly appreciate an opportunity to regain your trust if your travels bring you back this way.
