Went for a late lunch - ordered Garlic Knots, Lobster Ravioli, and a big topper pizza.

First time there, the ordering process was confusing, but the cashier explained it well - not many patrons there after lunch. The garlic knots weren't very tasty - just no flavor. I've had these at other places and certainly more tasty with more of a yeasty pizza bread flavor.

The lobster ravioli was only average - have had some from Costco that I cooked at home that was better.

The pizza crust was damp and didn't have enough cheese or tomato sauce to hold the ingredients in place while trying to eat it.

The manager/owner walked through the dining room on his cellphone rudely talking loudly to someone -.doesn't he have an office to call from?

Not impressed!! I've been to Italy, and several Littly Italy areas in many f our major cities, and Ciao Baby is just average, at best.

I'd like to be more positive, but not for this visit.

The pizza here is excellent, made on the spot and served at your table within 2 minutes! You pick the ingredients, all are fresh and the sauce is made daily out or authentic ingredients. The secret is their imported wood burning oven, which is kept at around 900 degrees! Good selection of beer, bottled and on tap.
The owners are always there and greet every patron. Great food, nice people and reasonably priced.

Adrian makes his dough fresh from scratch everyday using only high-end flour imported from Italy. He makes his own marinara sauce fresh from scratch everyday using only San Marzano tomatoes imported from Italy . He even makes his own mozzarella cheese fresh daily using only the very best cheese from Wisconsin. Who does all that anymore? He's a fanatic - always there, always involved. Even his pizza oven is authentic, a work of art imported from Naples. Once you try his pizza (get the straight up Pizza Margherita) you'll be blown away by the freshness and flavor, and you'll realize you've been eating processed packaged frozen cheap flavorless crap all these years.

I'm from New York and live in Arlington tn for almost 10 years. Me and my family have tried many of the supposened "Italian" restaurants/pizza places around. We heard about Caio baby from our extended family that are also from New York and they informed us that they finally found a restaurant even better than New York. They were not exaggerating. It's that great. Everything you eat is fresh and homemade. Their sauce is out of this world. And they make homemade pizza right in front of you that cooks in 90 secs in a special dome oven. We cannot wait to go back. The family who owns this place are friendly, fun and now will be friends of ours for life!!!! You will not be sorry.
