We stayed here over night on a Friday night, August 24, 2012 - just needed a room for a quick one-night stay to check out the area. We asked for a king bed smoking room - I believe our biggest mistake. The room smelt soooo bad, had we not been so tired, we would have said something or just asked for our money back. The windows didn't open in the room, so there was no way to air it out except to leave the door open, in which case letting bugs in the room. The carpet was sticky and walls by the bathroom were filthy, especially the light switch. Our lamps on the wall were a 50s blue color and the entire room aside from the comforter was dated to about 50s. I will say though that it is a possible we were given the worst room in the entire hotel, cause the pictures on here look absolutely NOTHING like the place we stayed at but I do recognize the outside of the hotel and the pool. The poor was nice and has a good safety lock on the gate, which can only be reached by someone who is at least three feet tall, which is good for people with small children. There is a huddle house or waffle house right next door - which would be a review in itself and not a great one. By looking at the pictures and reading the other reviews, I think we just got a bad room. It was on the first floor on the opposite side of the building from the poor - I think the key is to stay away from the smoking rooms and if you insist upon a room that allows smoking, ask to see the room you will be given first and you may have some decent luck here, based on other reviews.

Room Tip: If asking for a smoking room, ask to see the room first! Especially if you are on the first floor.

If you're looking for a squeeky clean room close to the highway and restaurants, this will work for you. We backed up to the door (which we like) to unload/load our luggage. In addition to the microwave and refrigerator, it had a recliner. If you're looking for a hot breakfast, you might want to look elsewhere. Breakfast consisted of waffles only--nothing with protein was offered. The orange juice, apple juice, and coffee were watered down so much that it was undrinkable. The Choice Hotels points is too high for this quality and amenities.

Older hotel with few amenities. Okay for sleeping away from the road if you have pets. Breakfast was lacking healthy options like fruit or yogourt.

This place is not what I would call a nice place to stay. Cheap? Yes. You get what you pay for so don't expect much. Manager was very rude to her employees.

If you're looking for a four or five star hotel, keep looking.

If you're looking for a nice, pet friendly and clean hotel less than a minute from the interstate and five minutes from restaurants, keep reading.

We stayed one night here on our way home from Atlanta. The reservation, made on www.choicehotels.com, Quality's parent company's web site, was simple to make. My alumni association discount brought the price down to a very reasonable level. The room and bathroom were clean, the bedding was fine and the mattress comfortable. You can park right at your door on the first floor which makes travel with a pet much easier.

The owners were on site and are very friendly.

We would stay there again on a trip to or from Atlanta from our home in Dayton.

Room Tip: Regarding location, it's quieter on the side of the hotel opposite the highway. One side of the...

After a horrible night in Biloxi, MS...we were filled with trepidation as we approached our night in Celveland, TN. All of our worries were assuaged the moment we walked in and met Helena at the front desk. When our first room smelled too strongly of perfume, she gladly moved us to another available room that was clean, tidy, and did not have any undesirable odor! She did this with a huge smile and genuine interest in our having a comfortable night.
Honestly, she made us feel like we were at home.

The only caveat to this is that there are smoking rooms on the top, inside floor. This meant that he hallway smelled very strongly of cigarette smoke and some of this smell traveled with us and through the door into our non-smoking room.

But you kind of forget all of that when you are greeted with a big hug at breakfast in the morning. :)

We were looking for a clean affordable bed for the night. This hotel is just that, it's not fancy, very basic, the towels are thin and a little hard, the bed was comfortable enough, would benefit from a memory foam mattress topper. Breakfast was adequate. Excellent WiFi coverage and it's free. We had a no smoking room, sadly it wasn't a no smoking floor but the smell in the hallway wasn't as bad as it could have been. The room smelled fresh and clean, no trace of smoke. Overall a good clean place to spend the night.
