The clerk at this hotel was friendly as a rattlesnake. When I inquired about your using my Wyndham Rewards Point for the stay, she said she didn't know how to do that. You've got to be kidding! This is the leading hotel chain in the Wyndham Rewards Program, and the staff doesn't know how to let you use your Rewards points.

When we got to the room, we found the heat on. It's the middle of September in the South, and they're running the heat? We quickly realized that the beds had no blankets on them. Instead they were outfitted with these ridiculous duvets, which are some obscene combination of a comforter and sheets. A blanket they are not. Trying to sleep under them is like sleeping under a tent that fell on you. When we requested blankets from the clerk, she acted like we were asking for special treatment, and walked off in a huff.

This is another example of a hotel chain pretending to be an upscale luxury hotel, yet it can't put blankets on the bed and will only change your sheets every three days unless you ask them to.

If a hotel is going to be in the hospitality industry, they ought to know the meaning of the word hospitality. The staff here clearly does not.

We stayed here with a group for the AAU basketball tournament in Clarksville. The hotel was very clean, the continental breakfast included in the rate was good and the pool area was clean. The staff were all polite and very helpful. We used the 'food' area for the continental breakfast different times of day for get togethers with our team and the hotel was great in supporting that. Would stay here again. Very close to restaurants, stores, the mall, etc.

Room Tip: Rooms have double beds, so for a family of 4 not a lot of sleeping room, but space to add a mattress...

My wife and I stayed here on a Saturday night, she had business Sat and Sunday in Clarksville. I checked us into the hotel and the staff seemed to be pre-occupied or had other things on their minds during check-in. Not much of a greeting, not much said about the room or hotel, nothing said about morning breakfast. I thought maybe it was a case where the dayshift employees were just wanting to get off the clock. However, check-out the next day was the same ho-hum experience. No one asked how the room was, did we enjoy are stay, it was sign here and bye.
The hotel was nice. large room, flat screen tv, indoor pool and exercise room. If your room faces the interstate, you will hear the traffic.
With so many hotel options in the area, it was the ho-hum attitude of the front desk that has us looking elsewhere for lodging next time we are in Clarksville.

We initially stayed at the Best Western, but what a dive, so we moved to the Wingate. Our son was returning from Afghanistan to Ft Campbell KY. The people, room, and service were grrrreat!!! The lady (Ann) checked us in, she was nice and patient. After what we experienced at the Best Western I asked her a few questions before checking in. She patiently answered each question and followed up later to ensure everything was fine. I can't say enough good things about this place. I will go back.

Nothing exceptional but clean and comfortable. We were just traveling through and needed a place to stay. We didn't encounter any problems and the beds were comfortable. Checkin and checkout went smoothly. There are plenty of restaurant in the area to choose from, both fast food and sit down. I'd probably stay again if I was in the area.
