We always go to Chattanooga for St. Patrick's Day. They die the waterfall at Rock City green and it is a lot of fun. This hotel is very nice and clean. The staff is really friendly. Good location as well. We had a king size bed in our goos size room and got the best sleep. The hotel is full of history. The front desk and other employees are more than willing to talk about room 311 being haunted. You can even take a tour. I am a big chicken and did not go anywhere near the 3rd floor. I will leave that to someone else to discover.

We here at the historic Sheraton Read House Hotel thank you for your kind comments. And speaking for Annalisa Netherly, our resident ghost from room 311, we hope that you will return many times in the years to come! She will still be here!

After working in a Renaissance Hotel for years I must say I am the worst guest at any hotel because my expectation is for a flawless and clean hotel at all times. I checked into the Sheraton Read Hotel and was first impressed with the valet staff. The Valet staff welcomed me and offered help with everything. The front desk staff was professional and even took the time to make sure all of the amenities of the hotel was explained to me. My expanded King room was very clean. Mayra my housekeeper was very professional and even greeted me every time I saw her in the hall. I must thank Jen Prpich and Dee Richardson for their hotel team and care of this beautiful hotel.

Stopped for a short stay on the way back from D.C. Hotel is authentic and grand much like I imagine it was back when it was new. A lot of history here. Perfectly located and was greeted with gracious staff. Our room was fantastic - large and comfortable. The fitness center and pool are new and better than most hotels with some free weights and weight machines along with treadmills and stair steppers.

Room Tip: Didn't eat breakfast here or use the spa so can't grade them effectively. One thing not said that may be a help - all parking is valet only for $15.00. Not expensive, but is really an addition to your room price because there are no other options.

Big, comfortable room; enormous, top-quality bed. Good location, very personable staff, lovely hotel. Older, but kept-up. A good weekend get-away place. Nice and quiet ambiance. The hotel is situated within walking distance of all the downtown attractions. The in-house Starbucks is a plus!

Wonderful hotel, room was very nice. The valet service was fast and friendly. The hotel staff were very attentive and friendly. The hotel is close to many things to do downtown. We would definitely stay here again. The only thing that I could see that needs improving is the numbers of towels left in our bathroom, only 2.

Happy Belated Anniversary! We are delighted that you enjoyed your staff and hope to see you again year after year for your special date. We have noted your comment regarding the number of towels in the room, and are working to correct the problem!
