Very attentive and kind front desk staff. Only complaint is that we tried to participate in the green program but they ended up just not cleaning our room at all! Easily resolved with a call to customer service.

My bad experience with this hotel started with check-in. We arrived a little before 3 pm and were told that check-in couldn't happen for at least another 15 minutes. There was a large crowd waiting to check in, so in order to avoid wasting time waiting to check in, we left to go visit the Aquarium. Upon our return, we were told that we couldn't have the type of room we had reserved and paid for. In the room we ended up in, we had no way to cool the room's temperature. We couldn't open the windows, and the air conditioner was blowing out warm air despite being set at a low temperature so we were forced to attempt to sleep in an uncomfortable warm room. The next day, by late afternoon, the type of room we had wanted still was not available, and we learned that there was no way to get colder air into the room. Additionally, the room hadn't even been cleaned. Rather than stay another night as planned and not be able to sleep in the warm room and undesirable arrangements, we left.

Very nice room and quiet! Excellent decor. Indoor pool. Valet service was very good.
Had some trouble getting room made up so that evening asked for supply of towels, etc. and a few hours later had to ask again. Also didn't receive wake-up call one day. Staff was very friendly and tried to help but maybe just too busy. Would stay there again but would also consider other dowtown locations.

Room Tip: The corner rooms are secluded and quiet.

Located downtown next to free shuttle system. We rode the shuttle to both sides of the river and had time to visit the Delta Queen Steamboat which is now a floating hotel and restaurant - which with a little bit of luck will start operating next year as the oldest steamboat in America.

Highly recommended. Everything was perfect; from the gold leaf molding, crystal chandliers, smiling staff, comfy room with sitting area, walking distance to football games,to the Starbucks coffee shop inside hotel we could not have been more pleased. We did not see one ghost! A wedding reception was going on in the ball room and we received the benefit of hearing the lovely music. The hotel has an interesting history and it is just beautiful!

The hotel has a lot of history and character to it! Even claims to have a haunted room, but could not get my kids to agree with me to stay in it! Perfect time to book for Halloween! The staff were excellent from check in to check out! Valet parking, provided pamphlet about the history of the hotel to my kids, directions, room service, most comfortable beds...Excellent all around!

WAs a very lovely hotel with a great fitness center and spacious rooms with a separate living room area.

Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful - especially Joey G, valet parking staff, who kindly let me take his great jacket up hiking when I realized I did not have one with me and he mentioned it might be windy. Without hesitating, he thoughtfully said I could take his and just return it when I was back at the hotel. What super service - thank you Joey G!
