Last night my husband and I ate at Hennen's before going to the symphony. I had the gumbo which was very good and the baby spinach salad which was very large and also good. My husband had the Scallops Benedict which came on a very small bed of grits and consisted of 3 scallops and a rolled up slice of prosciutto. He asked the waiter how much he was paying for 3 scallops. The waiter was very courteous and explained that they were supposed to be 2 ounces each, but appear to have shrunk during cooking. A little later the manager came by and reiterated this. He apologized and took $5 off our bill, so the 3 scallops "only" cost $16. The service was good, the staff was courteous and polite. My only concern is the small portion of Scallops Benedict.
