“great desserts”

This is a small place on top of the river bluff above the Walnut Street Bridge ( south side ) and across from the Hunter art museum A little pricey but very good, limited seating, some outside very nice in the late afternoon

“The best bakery in Chattanooga!!!”
Reviewed July 11, 2013

We love this place located in the Art District.Perfect place to buy dessert and walk across bridge or at night it is a great place to walk around and see the beautiful lights of the city. WE have done this many times and always have felt safe. Very nice area!
We have tasted many things, but the best are the chocolate covered coconut macaroons, and the rum balls. SOOOO GOOD!! They also bake all their own breads. Very fresh and tasty!!

“Only had desserts, bread and coffee this visit”
Reviewed July 8, 2013

This trip to the Bluff View Art District landed us at Rembrandt's Coffee House twice. Once after dinner and once before leaving....(got to take some yummies home you know.... LOL)

Over in chocolate section I highly recommend the brandied chocolate covered cherries. They are excellent (but probably not a good choice for a recovering alcoholic...LOL). Also, the mint julip chocolate, and also the cayenne chocolate. All very yummy !!!

In the pastry area, if you like Tiramasu, they do have a nice one there for you. Yummo !!!

In the bread selection, my favorite ???? The whole garlic loaf. Delicious.

I don't recommend the white chocolate frozen frappe. Not very sweet at all. THUMBS down !!! This seems to be a trend with this coffee shop. They don't make very tasty frozen drinks, b/c they just don't have much flavor.

Overall,excellent visit.....

“Yummy”

Who needs Starbucks. This place is much better. You must check out the coffee pots with different aromas - wow. Wonderful garden to enjoy your cake and coffee in too - and a handmade chocolate if your diet allows. Worth the walk up the hill. Tip - go here for you fix after you have had lunch across the street at Tonys!

“Great desserts and coffee!”
Reviewed July 2, 2013

I have always enjoyed the sandwiches here but more recently I go here for coffee and desserts. They have a huge assortment of specialty desserts ranging from Tiramasu to key lime pie and cakes. Some are light and some are fully loaded. My personal favorite is the hazelnut bliss. When the weather is nice, their outdoor seating is a very nice patio with a fountain and a beautiful garden area. They have indoor seating as well but it is limited and often very difficult to find a seat. College students will utilize tables with books or computers and basically camp out there so the turnover is not rapid.
