“Very peaceful and beautiful memorial”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 21, 2014

I felt very connected to God here. It was a way for anyone who had an abortion or miscarriage to honor the memory of their baby and to express their sorrow in a healing way.

“The Memorial Will Change Your Life”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 29, 2013

The Memorial for the Unborn is a place I have heard about when I was a teenager. I was bestowed the honor of finally seeing the memorial in 2013. It is such a powerful tribute to young children that did not have the opportunity to live on this earth either by abortion or by miscarriage. The memorial offers a place where parents who chose abortion can memorialize their child and have closure in their lives. The same for those who had a miscarriage... either way, it is very traumatic on a family. The facility is very well-maintained and creates a non-judgemental environment for visitors. The letters and toys at the base of the wall will bring tears to your eyes. The pain that these women and families go through is tremendous. The significance of the site is that it was an abortion clinic for many years. A Christian group, through prayer and funding, received the opportunity to purchase the clinic and transformed it into a pregnancy resource center and Memorial. If you have a "bucket list" or if you near Chattanooga, PLEASE visit this site. You will have such a deeper love and respect for life when you leave this beautiful place.
