My husband and I came across this place on vacation and were drawn inside by the simple but yummy-looking menu in the front window. The little deli has less than 15 tables and is situated right at the base of the incline railway (a major tourist attraction in the area). We were looking for a simple, inexpensive lunch that would fit our low-carb lifestyle. The owner, his stepmom, and his Dad were all there the day we went in. It is truly family-owned and we like supporting local business. We both ordered Chef Salads and were very pleased when nice, big salads were delivered quickly. They had a generous amount of meat on top and feta cheese too, which is a twist on the usual. They cost us only $8 per person and were fresh and satisfying without being so huge as to be ridiculous. We noticed that other tables were ordering very appetizing-looking burgers, sandwiches, fries etc. We would definitely go back!
