“Great food, atmosphere and service”
Reviewed May 7, 2013

Since we stayed at downtown Chattanooga we decided to find restaurant within walking distance. We chose to give it a try based on the TripAdvisor review. We ordered Salmon, dynamite ( spicy), and # of sushi. The perfect cook salmon comes with sauce, rice and vegetables that compliment the fish. It was delicious. The sushi were also great, especially the Mardi Grass though it was spicy (if you eat the jalapeno on the top). The service was fantastic and they had full bar. Their Nigori sake ( unfiltered sake) was sweet and cold, just the way I like it. Overall, I am satisfied with their food, cozy warm atmosphere, fantastic service and their reasonable price. We will definitely come back again when we visit the Chattanooga.

“Great sushi”

Our group was large -so I was lucky to have a large selection of fresh sushi. The starters were delish- fried oysters were so tasty. Nice place. It was packed with patrons- lots of specials-service was good

“Great Sushi!”
Reviewed March 25, 2013

Just up the street from the StoneFort Inn where we stayed.
Great sushi, great staff! The local rolls were the best! Cool decor. Full bar. Can't ask for more. Kind of in a newer location from our last visit, but it was close to where we stayed, so that was good!

“Warm atmosphere and excellent food”
Reviewed March 14, 2013

We have lived in the area and not visited Sekisui until our birthdays this year. Loved the warm and cozy atmosphere. The waitress was very helpful with the menu and I enjoyed my first taste of saki. . We ordered the salmon and it was the best ever. We will be back. Love what Chattanooga is doing to the South side!
