Really good onion rings. Original for sure. Great little diner in an odd sort of place. Don't go expecting to get a seat right away though and there is not a waiting list to put your name on--it's first come first serve. Nice atmosphere.

Nikki's is my favorite restaurant in Chattanooga. Everything on the menu is great, but I always order the fried gulf shrimp. It's the best I've ever had and it is NOT greasy. The shrimp are large, butterflied, lightly breaded, and fried. They taste very fresh and are always perfectly cooked. They are better than any shrimp I've had at more pricey fine dining establisments.
The standard diner options, such as burgers, hotdogs, chicken fingers, fries and onion rings are all excellent. The honey mustard and french dressing are delicious and their coleslaw is the best in town. I love that they have not changed in 40 years.

make no mistake about it, this place is a greasy spoon, but a great one. its a throwback to the 60's and earlier and hasnt changed much at all. some of the best if not the best homemade onion rings I have ever eaten and pretty good burgers as well. the hand cut fries are not bad at all. when you leave, you will smell like grease so be prepared.

Very popular hamburger and fried food joint. Sometimes you just have to have this type of food and this is the place to go. The fried shrimp is one of my favorites. Been at the same location for years and a popular place for people to get together for a beer.
