“Extremely good, extremely overpriced.”
Reviewed August 28, 2013

This sushi place has a big menu, and everything we tried was wonderful!! Only problem, and the reason they lost a star, was their severe overpricing, and tiny rolls. We spent $70 on 5 rolls, which at every other place we go to, will fill us up completely. Here however, did not, and we ended up stopping for a burger on our way home. The building also seemed a little beat up. In several spots there were holes in the walls, and random things everywhere. Maybe they were remodeling?

“Best Sushi”
Reviewed August 14, 2013

Sushi Nabe has become our standard for sushi restaurants, period. Nabe himself makes the atmosphere happier and his variety of sushi rolls is outstanding. Conveniently located in the Northshore area of Chattanooga, there is lots to do after a great plate of sushi! The only downside is that the restaurant is closed on Mondays and parking is not free. Just personal preference, but my favorite roll is the music city roll, YUM!

Reviewed August 12, 2013

Located on River Street in beautiful downtown Chattanooga, Tn.
Food is by far of the highest standards, fresh and tasty!!
The atmosphere of the dining room is warm and cozy.
You can even watch the Chefs prepare your food.
Wonderful place, I highly recommend it.

“Great Sushi”
Reviewed July 27, 2013

Over the past 15 years, I have become a "regular" at this establishment, starting while the restaurant was located across town. I have no problem bringing business clientele here, they always seem to enjoy it. Sushi is great, atmosphere is different, but fun. Dont get ina hurry, great sushi takes time, they arent ignoring you. The only negative this restaurant is its location in a city park, where many times it's a pain to park just to go here, and as a result this is much more of a winter favorite for us

“Scetchy Sushi”
Reviewed July 13, 2013

Had a coupon for 25% off and found the place while visiting downtown. Kind of hard to find but in Coolidge Park near carousel. Went around 3:00. I was nervous, but read to look over atmosphere from other reviews. Place was dirty but the sushi area was clean with no smell. The dining area was dirty, cluttered and servers were dirty looking with wrinkly clothes & dirty aprons. One other table was getting lunch box specials. We eat sushi often and must be spoiled cause this was not good. The lunch box specials came with dumplings, rice, chicken terriyaki, miso soup and 6 Pcs of tempura roll or California roll. Rice had some weird leftover fridge taste, chicken terriyaki tasted scorched and sushi was tasteless. You had to cover everything in soy sauce to cover flavor. My kids barely ate and they love Japanese. They didn't like the tempura either. We felt like we wasted our money and felt sick after we ate. Blah.
