Recently stayed here for 2 days with our group and had am excellent time. The hotel is in a great location very close to downtown not walking distance. The hotel breakfast is not that great but it is free. The pool is small bur great for small kids. The outdoor patio is perfect for sitting and taking a break. Rooms are a good size with the bathroom being huge. The customer service was outstanding. Would recommend for all.

This is the second time we have stayed at this hotel and it is still a wonderful place to stay. The hotel is clean and elegant, the location is great (overlooking the river and near all of the attractions), and they have a wide variety of food for breakfast. The patio with fire pit overlooking the river is quite nice. Our balcony overlooked the river and had a table with 2 chairs so we ate breakfast there every morning. We enjoyed watching the tug boats assemble the barge tows across the river. We stayed 3 nights this time and each morning they had scrambled eggs, turkey sausage (one morning it was turkey sausage with peppers and potatoes), oatmeal, cereal, various muffins and breads, yogurt, juice, coffee, & fruit. On the weekdays, they had fresh pineapple and cantaloupe, make your own sandwich ingredients, and boiled eggs instead of the make your own waffles that they had on the weekend. They also have "breakfast to go" sacks for those that can't stay to eat. The rooms are spacious and have a large sofa, a desk, mini fridge, microwave, and free wifi. The rooms without a balcony are very reasonable. I was told that you will hardly ever find a discount on the balcony rooms.

We stayed 2 nights(midweek) at this hotel with our grandchildren (4 & 1). The hotel is very attractive and clean. We arrived around noon and had a smooth check in. I wouldn't say the front desk was over friendly but she was adequate. We loved our room, it was spacious, clean and very comfortable. Our grandkids loved the pool area and we spent quite a bit of time there. It was clean and towels were plentiful. We enjoyed the river view from our room. To us with small children this motel is a little to far to be considered walking distance to the main attractions downtown. Everyone enjoyed the breakfast, it was fresh with several choices. We enjoyed our stay here and would stay here again.

Room Tip: We enjoyed the room with a river view.

My family meets In Chattanooga for gatherings a couple of times a year. We always stay in the downtown area. We have stayed at several different hotels but Spring Hill Suites is our favorite. We call it our "Go To" place! The rooms are spacious, there is a sitting room, very modern bathrooms and always clean! The lobby & patio is a great area to gather with family & friends. In the evening for a cocktail & in the morning for a continental breakfast.

Room Tip: Some rooms overlook the Tennessee River, but all the rooms have similar views. Unfortunately the riv...

This is a new hotel on the water, with a fire pit and outdoor entertainment. Beautiful, clean and courteous staff. We ate dinner down the street at the wharf house which was also excellent. Close enough to the town square of Chattanooga. We will definitely stay here again! We didn't order room service or eat in the dining room, therefore I rated those three stars.

This hotel is new and very nice. The rooms are spotless. The bartender is great. The decor is very nice. The only down fall is every once in a while there is a smell from the river near the hotel. Very nice place to stay

My husband and I stayed this past Friday and Saturday night over Memorial Day weekend at the SHS. We both liked the layout of our room, especially the bathroom. We've stayed in other SHS before and this layout seemed to work the best. The hotel is on the river and there is an outdoor patio area where you can hang out or enjoy a cocktail from the bar. You are a short walk from downtown. We easily walked to the aquarium during the day, but opted for driving our car to dinner at night. The breakfast was adequate...we only ate there one morning and had brunch out on Sunday. I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Chattanooga.

Room Tip: We didn't request a waterfront room, but I would recommend this. Otherwise, you are looking at...
