Recently stayed here for a reunion. Staff is very helpful and courteous. Our room was nicely decorated, and very well equipped and offered free wifi. There is a lovely patio on the river. Breakfast is included in the stay. Only recommendation I would make is to do a better job at breakfast. In addition to scrambled eggs and sausage, only whole bananas, oranges, and no berries were offered.

Room Tip: Ask for a room facing the river. In the morning, it was like glass.

Had an excellent stay. All the staff were so friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast was fabulous. I want to commend Debra one of the breakfast servers. She was so helpful and friendly.
The Hotel is so nice and clean and comfortable. I see why it is rated as #1. We are right on the River and had a great view of the River right from our hotel room. SpringHill Suites is #1 in my book.

My family and I just traveled to Chattanooga for a one night, two day visit to see the Tennessee Aquarium and the Chattanooga Childrens' Museum downtown. Upon arrival at the SpringHill Suites in downtown Chattanooga, we were impressed at how close this hotel was to Chattanooga's riverfront. It's a very modern, and clean looking hotel. Even though we arrived earlier than the normal check-in time, a room was available that we could occupy. Upon arriving to the room and opening the door, a distinct sewage-like odor could be smelled. At first we thought the smell would go away and did not think anything of it. Several hours later, after exploring the downtown and returning to the hotel to end our day, the smell was still around when we entered the room. At this point, we decided we did not want to stay in this room, because the smell would not go away. I went down to the check-in desk, informed the person helping me of the room's problem. Without even hesitating, I was immediately given another room for my family to change over to. My family and I moved over to the new room, and there was no smell.

We very much enjoyed our one night's stay at the hotel, and amenities the hotel offered. The room was clean, the beds were very comfortable, and the overall atmosphere is what you'd expect in a much larger hotel. We enjoyed using the on-site pool and had a good breakfast before leaving. I would very much like to praise the attentiveness of the hotel's staff in moving us to another room without question. Having stayed at Marriott hotels almost consistently over the past 14 years when travelling in the States, a certain level of attention and quality is expected with this hotel chain. Our family's stay at the SpringHill Suites in downtown Chattanooga was no exception.

Booked a block of rooms for a competition we were attending. Many families, including ours, stayed for a couple of extra nights. Everyone LOVED the hotel and the amenities. The rooms are modern and large, there is a great outside patio with fire pit right on the river, a bar inside, a Continental breakfast with extras, indoor pool, hot tub, and work out area. You can walk to the aquarium, AT&T field, and many downtown restaurants if you don't mind walking a little ways (our kids are older so it was an easy walk for us). I will be sure to stay here next time we are in Chattanooga!

I thought this hotel was right downtown but it is about a 10 min walk to the restaurants and aquarium. The hotel was new. We had a great view of the river. The staff was pleasant. And a hot breakfast!

This trip doubled as business and family time while staying at this Chattanooga Springhill Suites. It turned out to be the perfect place. The property is brand new with many upscale features not found in other Springhills. The fire pit and outdoor seating were wonderful. This property has a bar and happy hour...another plus! It is in walking distance to all of the attractions, but away from the hustle & bustle. Very relaxing, clean, spacious, & contemporary rooms.

We spent most of our Spring Break here. The facility is very clean, orderly and the staff is first rate. There were always several staff members tending to the busy breakfast rush. Breakfast offerings were very fresh and offered more variety than you usually find in included buffets. My teenager was elated to find little individual packs of Nutella! The small pool area always had plenty of towels available. The fire pit and seating on the patio were also a big hit with us. The view across the river is not particularly beautiful, but it's interesting to note that it is the commercial bakery that makes Moon Pies. The hotel is just a couple of blocks from the aquarium and there's a nice playground on the way. We would definitely stay here again!
