We took a leisurely stroll across the Walnut Street Bridge after visiting the aquarium. Had a wonderful spring day sunny in the 70's and visited the park across the river. I loved the wooden plank bridge and nice views of the surrounding area. Lots of runners and dog walkers along with other walkers. The only issue I had was there not being a quick, easy stroller / wheelchair accessable ramp from the bridge to the park. Recommend checking it out as long as it's good weather!

we rode our bikes across this amazing bridge, but I'd like to walk across it at night as it's lit up.

It's a little hard to find the entrance to this lovely pedestrian bridge but worth the effort. Unbeatable views of the Tennessee River and paddleboat below. There are benches if you want to just sit and eat ice cream or people watch. We walked to the north side of the river to eat at a German pub. One of the best leisurely strolls I've ever taken.

What a beautiful compliment to the beautiful river front. An easy walk no matter what shape you're in! Coolidge park and the shops on one side, the beautiful river walk and sculpture garden on the other! Beautiful views and so pretty at night too. Can't vouch for the safety at night but it seemed well patrolled. Don't miss this, grab an ice cream cone on either side and take a walk!
