“Very enjoyable stroll over the river”
Reviewed October 18, 2012

We really enjoyed strolling across the pedestrian bridge. We rode the free shuttle across the river then walked the short distance to the bridge. Nice views of Coolidge Park & the river. I enjoyed this as much as Rock City. If you walk down a rather steep hill you can ride the shuttle back to the Visitor's Center area. Be sure to take the steps down the hill. There is also an elevator for those in need of assistance. We didn't use the steps & it almost got a little too steep for me - - but I made it. It was worth it.

“Wow! What a view.”

I never would have imagined a bridge to be a tourist attraction. But this one is not to be missed! Pick up some ice cream at the parlor on the south side and go for a sunset stroll.

“Most take visitors”
Reviewed October 14, 2012

Every time some visits me in Chattanooga I take them on a walk over the bridge. The cannot believe that there is a walking only bridge over a major river smack in the middle of downtown. I always start the walk on the downtown side by the Hunter Museum. This way you can stroll the shops on Fraizer Avenue in North Chatt and go to Stone Cup if the cold requires some coffee.

“Great place for a walk or ride!”

Excellent local attraction for free and a good walk for exercise. Be sure to visit some of the sops on Fraser ave across the bridge for some different things. Great view.

“Worth Checking Out”
Reviewed October 13, 2012

My wife and I made the trek across the bridge earlier today. It was a pleasant experience and offered great views. It is nice to see a city take advantage of their riverfront areas like Chattanooga has. Knoxville certainly missed the boat. If you are in downtown Chattanooga and feel like walking around, you need to check this out. Just a tip: it was very windy.
