LIKE: The cool air coming off the river.
DISLIKE: Too much bird "doo" on the benches so we couldn't sit and enjoy the views...

The Walnut Street Bridge is one of Chattanooga's historic sites and views from the bridge are fantastic. It is close to restaurants, the Tennessee Aquarium, Bluff View Art District and all that is going on downtown.

This is a great activity for anyone, including families. The bridge is very well maintained and is just for pedistrians! The walk is nice with views of the river. At the other side of the journey there is a beautiful park. We were very impressed with the park, park buildings, park staff -- very nice atmosphere. There is also a restored carousel that is a fun ride for only $1.

Very Pretty walking bridge! My kids enjoyed walking over the Tennessee River and being able to run up and down the bridge! We went about 9 pm and it was still pretty crowded! But there was still enough room for my kids to run and play off some of that extra energy!

Joins the north shore of Chattanooga with the city. Walking only with benches to enjoy the view and rest after the walk.
