My grandson and I walked across the Walnut Street Bridge and took the time to enjoy the carousel. Because we had to dig for change (the debit card reader wasn't working) he had to ride alone.
A taste of yesterday for kids of today. It's not flashy or digital or laser-lit. It's a carousel where one's imagination can soar.

Love the carousel and the open space for playing frisbee. Love the walking bridge to the museum. Parking is the only issue.. Wish you didn't have to pay to park at the park.

Great for kids, picnics, sunbathing, kite flying, frisbee, that kind of stuff. My only complaint is that they don't allow dogs :(

Great spot to bring a blanket, some food, a frisbee and a kite. This park lies along the Tennessee River and is a wondeful place to spend an afternoon. Then take a walk across the Wlanut St Bridge for a unique adventure.

Throw a frisbee, ride a pony (a Carousel pony of course), splash in a fountain or just soak up the sun as you lie in the green grass at Coolidge Park. Lot's of places on adjacent Frasier Avenue to get a snack or lunch. Some of my fav spots include: Totto's Sushi, Stone Cup Coffee Shop, and the BrewHaus - Try the fried dill pickles!
