A nice park along the Tennessee River. You can picnic, walk around, play, take some great photos, etc. there. It is worth a visit if you have some free time.

This is a beautiful park on the banks of the TN river. Many walking paths and parking nearby. Lots of food choices on the hill above. Lovely carousel and play fountain. It did seem to lack in picnic tables though.

We took the granddaughters (9, 5 and 3 years old) to the park on Sunday and had a great time. They especially enjoyed the carousel and the chance to burn off some of that stored up energy running in the park. While not part of the park they also enjoyed swinging in the swing on the bow of the Delta Queen Riverboat. This is a great venue for kids.

What a fun place to hang out with your kids. It is especially fun in the summer time when the water is shooting from the fountain for the kids to splash in. The only negative I have found is that they don't allow pets so people who want to spend time there with their 4 legged children end up feeling excluded.

Enjoyed walking and looking over the river. Was impressed over the exercise areas. Steps and hills that went nowhere and later we found out they were for people to walk and run for exercise.
