I recently hosted a family reunion of 40 guests at this hotel. Not a single member of this group complained about the facility or service. In fact most of them complemented me on my choice of hotels for the reunion. Yes the hotel is old and in need of some upgrades but it was very clean and the service provided by the staff was second to none. The breakfast is as good or better than any place I've stayed that provided a complimentary breakfast.

My husband has been hospitalized in the area and I needed a place to stay on several occassions because of living 130 miles from Chattanooga. The staff was very helpful, supportive, and accomodating. The hotel is family and pet friendly and it was almost like being at home. The rooms were always very clean and maintainence was good. The carpets and tvs in the rooms need upgrading but that didn't seem too important when everything else was so excellent.

This was the worst La Quinta and Hotel I have ever seen for this price level. The rooms smell, carpets dirty, bed sheets stained, trash in the cans, dirty toilets. The police were also doing a large drug bust 2 doors down while we were about to check in. The hotel refused to give us a cancellation/refund even with a 24 hour notice.

DO NOT EVEN THINK ABOUT STAYING HERE!!!!! they charged our card full amount for two nights. we ended up eating the loss and staying elsewhere.

Room Tip: STAY SOMEWHERE ELSE. the marriot at the convention center was $25.00 a night more and well worth it...

My boyfriend and I stayed here during the Memorial Weekend holiday, and I must admit that we were both extremely disappointed. Our room looked shabby and dirty. The carpet in the room was horribly stained. The toilet in the bathroom was crooked... not set in straight. There were not enough electrical outlets in the room... we had to plug our cellphone chargers into the outlet in the bathroom because the one by the desk wouldn't hold the plugs. The air conditioner did not put out enough cold air, even though it ran on "high" for the duration of our stay, which was four nights. A picture on the wall by the bed was missing. The screws to attach it were still there and the outline of where it was supposed to be could be seen. The facial tissue dispenser in the bathroom was falling out of the wall. I tried to push it back in, but it kept falling out. The small coverlet that is supposed to go at the foot of the bed was missing. Any one of these things could have been overlooked... but all of them together was just... sad. We spoke to Tom, at the front desk and told him these things. He apologized and offered to send maintenance to the room the following morning, to check the air conditioner and the toilet. I stayed in the room until 4pm, and no one ever came. We were told by Tom that the hotel is in the process of replacing the carpeting throughout, but had not gotten to our room yet. It's their busy time of year. The staff were very polite and obviously embarrassed by our complaints, but nothing was done, or offered until the night before we were to check-out the following morning. It didn't make sense to move to another room for only one night, when we had been there already for three nights.

My boyfriend is an Elite member and spends approximately seven months of the year traveling for business. We use the points he accumulates for our leisure travel. Incidentally, we did not use points for this stay... we paid $99.00 per night for the Standard King Room, which is overpriced for the condition of this hotel, in my opinion. We've stayed at La Quinta Inns and Suites all over the country... and the location on W. 21st Street in Chattanooga, TN is the worst we have ever seen. We would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

This was our first visit ti Chattanooga and on the map this looked like a centrally located motel but is actually in an area that you probably wouldn't want to be walking outside at night. You might want to look at stying closer to the area of 8th and Market. The price here was very good (59 bucks) using the coupon we got from a coupon book at the city visitors center. I will upload a couple photos of our room which was very clean.

Thank you for your review. We appreciate all or guests and their comments. We are located right off the interstate downtown. We are not in a bad area, just a more open area. We offer free parking whereas downtown you pay to park. Thanks Again!

The hotel staff was very helpful and polite from our arrival to our departure. We felt very safe unlike some other reviewers. The beds were very comfortable Our room could have cleaner (unemptied trash can, hair on back of bathroon door). Other than the cleanliness, our stay was nice.

The exterior and hallways could use a good cleaning but that was all we found that could be improved. All the employees were friendly and helpful. Once inside the guestroom everything was clean and comfortable. Nice size bathroom and the beds were great. The kids loved the big warm pool! Will stay again next trip to Chattanooga.
