“Soooooo good!!!!”
Reviewed July 11, 2014

Glad I looked for this yummy place! FRESH everything! I had the taco plate and the OY Vey taco was heavenly! The ingredients were fresh and full of flavor. The jalapeno corn slaw was a bit spicy for my tastes, but the chicken/bacon taco helped smooth it out. Try the Elvis margs - yum! Highly recommend!

“High quality food combined with great service and cool decor”
Reviewed July 9, 2014

Great variety of unique menu selections with something for everyone. The many choices of unique tacos are some of the most interesting I've come across. The ingredients are of the best quality and the service was the best you could imagine, we were never left waiting and our server had a great attitude and was genuinely friendly. Great value for the money, the tacos were large and you only need two to be well fed. Interesting and fun decor that isn't too pretentious and yet the place has a very cool style. This is some of the best, if not the best Mexican food I've ever had. Though I was only in town for a couple days I returned for two more meals, one of them the same day! Loved the Sloppy Jose taco and Memphis BBQ taco.

This place was great, and had a lot of variety. I was glad that they had a entree with different types of tacos...

“Peruvian Roast Chicken!”
Reviewed July 6, 2014

Taco Mamacita is great. They offer a wide menu of flavorful tacos and other tasty treats but my favorite meal by far is the Peruvian Roast Chicken. The flavor just explodes in your mouth! The food and atmosphere is always good. The margaritas are good but the portions are a bit skimpy. This is where the locals go for good food.

“Fun and yummy!”
Reviewed July 5, 2014 via mobile

Good Tex-Mex just over the bridge. Good spot in terms of parking since it's in a strip mall, shopping center. We went July 4 for dinner and it was busy but probably not what it normally is. Fun indoor and outdoor seating. They have several salsas...house, verde, special peach, etc. We liked the house the best but wouldn't list this place as having the best salsa. Chips were a bit old with first batch we were brought. The guacamole was missing some lime, it was flat.
The drinks had a lot of ice...strawberry and special pineapple margarita were full of crushed ice. Not what we are used to with margaritas. They were tasty but not enough to have a second.
As far as menu is concerned plenty of cool taco choices. The fried shrimp (po' boy) and veggie jerk are 2 that stood out. The plantains in the veggie jerk were very yummy. The side selection was good...roasted corn on or off the cobb with butter and Parmesan, black bean and corn salad...both excellent....and not the typical refried beans or black beans and rice side (with no real choice)
Service was good. Mostly young wait staff all very nice and attentive; ours being helpful with tips on where to eat in Chattanooga outside of Taco Mamacita!
Would recommend this place. Just a few negatives with our chips, guacamole and drinks but not bad enough to not return or recommend it.
